Single Molecule Biophysics

The experience of our group on different spectroscopic techniques as well as on MD simulation is presently exploited to reach the detection limit of single molecule.

Single molecule spectroscopy, a field which is now enormously growing, has the unique potential to probe the dynamical behaviour of an individual molecule by extracting detailed information inaccessible in ensemble averaged measurements usually obtained by standard spectroscopic approaches. At the present, our single molecule activity is focussed on the following experimental and theoretical approaches:

  RAMAN-SERS SPECTROSCOPY

  SCANNING PROBE MICROSCOPY
